M. S. Ramaiah

M. S. Ramaiah was an industrialist and philanthropist from Bangalore who founded several educational institutions in India through the Gokula Educational Foundation,India. They include the M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, the M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies, the M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, the M.S. Ramaiah College of Law, the M.S. Ramaiah Arts, Science and Commerce Degree College, the M.S. Ramaiah Polytechnic, M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Management, M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital and Teaching Hospital. He died of lung disease.[1][2]
